I am a native Texan and proud of it. I've never been out of the state for more than a few weeks. But in 2021, my husband and I uprooted our lives to move halfway across the country so he could attend his dream college. To say it's been an adjustment is an understatement! I left behind a job that I absolutely adored; It allowed me to express my creativity and fulfilled my need to be creative. ​So in between settling into a new city  and making our house a home, I found myself feeling empty; something was missing. So, I began researching a new craft to help fill that empty space. After weeks of filtering through different things I discovered hand knitting! So off to the store I went to buy some luxuriously soft yarn. It took me over a week to learn the technique but once I got it right, I became a hand knitting fiend!

I've been doing this thing for 3 years  now and I am so proud and thankful for the progress my business has made. Making blankets for all of you is something I GET to do and look forward to doing for many years to come. What started on my living room couch has evolved into having my own little office space, participating in local markets and now...getting my products into other stores! So, thank you for being here and for being a part of Homemade Comforts community. I've always felt that no matter what I create, I leave some part of myself in my work and always pour my heart and soul into it. My ultimate goal and dream for my business is that YOU can feel the love and care that was thoughtfully intertwined in creating your blankets.
